Build your team from your website

The first time you sign in, Loquent asks one question: what’s your business? Give it your business name or your website, and it reads your site, sets up your workspace, and introduces your first AI teammate, who already knows your business. It takes about two minutes, and nothing goes out to anyone until you say so.

Setup opens on a screen of its own, without the sidebar. It greets you by your first name and asks What’s your business? Your business name, your website, or your Instagram all work.

  1. Type your business name or your website address.

  2. Press Build my team. While Loquent searches, the button reads Looking you up…

Type your business name or website, then press Build my team.

If you signed up with your business email address, setup may start the search for you: the box already shows the web address from your email, and Is this you? appears on its own.

If Loquent can’t find your business, a note under the box says why. Try your website address or another spelling, or, when the note offers it, choose Set it up myself to fill your workspace in by hand.

Not the moment? I’ll do this later, at the top of the screen, takes you to your workspace. Home keeps a Finish setting up card, and Pick up where I left off brings you back.

Loquent shows what it found under Is this you?, or Which one is you? when it finds a few: the business name, its website, where it is, and a line about what it does. Your website is where everything else comes from, so check it.

  1. Make sure the website is yours.

  2. Press Yes, that’s us.

Check it's your business, then press Yes, that's us.

Not the right business? Type a different name or website in the box below and press Look it up, or choose None of these — let me start over.

Loquent now reads your site and builds your workspace in eight parts, with a counter showing how many are done:

  • Business profile — who you are, what you do, and how to reach you.
  • Hours & coverage — your opening hours, your timezone, and the hours nobody is answering.
  • Services & catalog — what you sell, with the prices your site shows.
  • Knowledge base — the facts your teammate answers from, written from your site.
  • Logo & brand — your logo, your brand color, and a photo for each product, all from your own site.
  • Voice & tone — your AI teammate, set up to sound like your business.
  • Guardrails — rules that keep your teammate careful about the facts only you can confirm.
  • Your page — a page about your business with chat and a quote form on it, kept as a draft until you go live.
Watch the parts finish, wave by wave. It keeps running if you leave.

You can watch, or come back later: the build keeps running. If one part can’t finish, its tile says what it couldn’t do and the rest carry on; you can fill that part in yourself later. Stop and start over takes you back to the first question.

When the build is done, your new teammate introduces herself: the screen says Meet and her name. She has read your site, so ask her what a Contact would.

  1. Tap one of the suggested questions, or type your own and press Ask her.

  2. Read her answer.

  3. Press Continue when you’re ready. It appears once you’ve asked her something.

It’s a private test: nobody outside your workspace sees it.

She starts on Suggest: she writes each reply and waits for you to approve it. She is also your team’s default, so a Contact who arrives on a channel with no teammate of its own goes to her. See Suggest vs. Autonomous and Who’s replying to a Contact.

Three short steps finish setup:

  • Only you know this lists the few facts Loquent won’t guess. Fix them there, or later in Settings. The same screen shows that your teammate drafts and you approve, the safe default; letting her reply on her own asks you to confirm first.
  • Then you start your trial, the one step that asks for a card, or press Not now to go to your workspace and start it later from Home. See Start your trial.
  • Last, a screen named for your teammate, such as Put Aria to work, gets your website chat ready with Turn on webchat and publishes your page with Publish my page, each when you’re ready. Take me to my workspace ends setup.

Next, meet your AI team and fill in the rest of your business profile.
