Contact Memory
Contact Memory is a single AI-maintained summary of everything Loquent has learned about a contact from their call history. It updates automatically after every call and is injected into the agent’s context before the first word of the next conversation — so your agent can greet returning callers by name, remember past preferences, and pick up where the last call left off.
How memory is built
Section titled “How memory is built”After each call, Loquent’s AI reads the interaction note for that call and synthesizes it into the contact’s existing memory. The result is a single, continuously updated note — not a growing list of summaries.
What memory contains
Section titled “What memory contains”Memory typically includes:
- The contact’s name (if mentioned during calls)
- Recurring topics, preferences, or concerns
- Unresolved issues or outstanding follow-ups
- Any context the agent should know before answering
How agents use memory
Section titled “How agents use memory”Before connecting a call, Loquent injects the contact’s memory into the agent’s system context. The agent uses this to personalize its greeting and behavior without you having to configure anything.
